EVERY DAY WITH ADHD and CHALLENGING BEHAVIOURS
Understand what ADHD and/or Learning Difficulties are and the impact the characteristics cause on challenging behaviours. Learn practical strategies and techniques to give you the confidence to encourage positivity and success in the lives of those dealing with ADHD and Challanging Behaviours by tapping into their strengths. (Techniques can be applied to Aspergers)
Look at aspects and gain awareness on:
· Characteristics of ADHD;
· What it feels like to have ADHD/ASD;
· Hyperactivity;
· Impulsivity;
· Inflexibility;
· Obsessions;
· Social skills;
· Organisation;
· Short term memory;
· Specific learning difficulties.
You, or someone close to you, may display these characteristic or have been diagnosed with ADHD and/or Learning Difficulties and received appropriate medical advice but what happens next? How do you find out more and where can you go to help you understand?
